Our Story

Laptops needing desktop-class performance is becoming more and more common. In the past, laptops were great for mobility. However, as the graphics and processing requirements have outpaced laptop power over time – especially with gaming – and as new work-from-home schemes have become the norm during and after the pandemic, there is a significant demand for expansion units that can grant laptops access to the best GPUs and SSDs in the market. This is the fundamental cornerstone of the Adaptop journey.

As we are a small but ambitious startup, our vision at Adaptop is, beyond designing an astonishing piece of tech of course, to curate a customer-based brand, which enables you, our customers, to have a say in what kinds of products you are interested in. We want to provide the highest-grade product, but allow for customisations and unique elements which no other companies care to provide. We have several ideas in the pipeline, but want to grow organically without external funding, influence nor ownership. Therefore we will reinvest every single dollar earned through our sales back into the production cycle for more products, and our R&D initiative which will design the products of tomorrow. We are NOT in it for the profit.
